Process Journal [September 4th-October 6th ( the one that was handwritten)]

*Sept. 4th:
I attended the MYP retreat where I participated in a training workshop for Personal Project. At first I was very confused, this being my first year in an international school. I didn't understand much about the AOI and the Personal Project. Until a few friends started making it clearer for me.

*Sept. 5th-8th:
I started understanding the main things I needed for the PP. It was then that i started brainstorming for ideas i could apply for the PP.

*Sept. 9th:
I met wth Mrs. Lindsay my Personal Project advisor. We discussed my ideas. She liked the ideas and told me to check with the coordinator of the PP if it would work out. Ofcourse I was clueless of who the PP coordinator is, so I asked my friends. They took me to her the next day.

*Sept 10th:
I told the Personal Project coordinator my idea. She told me to be more specific and to have a goal. At that moment I was sad, I thought my idea was going to work and got my hopes up too high.

*Sept. 11th-13th
I chose a specific subject and a goal. I also wrote my goal statement for the PP. I was really confused when I wrote it and I had no doubt I was going to get some pretty bad feedback. But I kept in mind that feedback is not to frustrate the student, but to help him.

*Sept 14th-22nd
I researched what my options are. What the sources are going to be, who I am going to seek for interviews. How I was going to reach these sources. I was still a bit confused about everything and was trying to organize my thoughts.

*Sept. 25th:
I received the feedback for my goal statement. As I expected I had more than 3 big mistakes. I didnt get frustrated since it was the first time I write a goal statement, and I know I can make it better by using the feedback.

*Spet. 26th-Oct 6th:
I organized my ideas, fixed my goal statement and wrote my plan. I was very confused while writing my plan. I don't think it will be correct, so I'm waiting to meet with my advisor and see what she thinks. I've found my main sources and started gathering information. Pretty soon the products will be done.
